So much for old standards; Bruce Springsteen opened his act on April 1 in DC with cuts from his newest album ‘Wrecking Ball’. His much anticipated visit to New Jersey on the 3rd and 4^th of April, promises more of the same.  On April 6th and 9^th he will play in neighboring New York. Good luck getting tickets however because by all reports they are sold out. No surprise there…it is The Boss after all. Calm down…there’s good news. The April 13^th and 16^th shows still have tickets available; right this very second.

Of course Bruce Springsteen is not the only one honoring the New York/ New Jersey area with his presence. Madonna, you remember Madonna; Red Hot Chili Peppers; Liza Minnelli; Herbie Hancock; Coldplay; Creed; Lenny Kravitz; music’s most infamous diva Aretha Franklin and Lady Antebellum will all be performing at one point or another at various places in NY/NJ in 2012.
