I started out on Blogger back when that was pretty much the only game in town, skipped over Greymatter altogether, switched to Movable Type, then back to Blogger, and I’ve now obviously moved on to Wordpress, which I’m enjoying.
Of course, I wasn’t always a blogger. I’ve had a website of some sort since 1997, but the blogging only began in late 2000.
At times, I’ve doubled as a photoblogger — a habit begun in late 2001 — but various frustrations with certain cameras and their manufacturers has kept me away from that for a while now. Perhaps at some point, I’ll resume.
Recently, I decided to separate the blog from the domain I use for my professional website because I would rather not have to worry about potential employers reading my personal blog. For the time being it will be a place for me to write quick thoughts about movies I watch, politics, and other randomness I feel like cramming on here.
