A Scanner Darkly
Directed by Richard Linklater
Set in a future not too far off, the film really acts as an indictment of many elements of today’s culture and serves as a cautionary tale. Of course, it’s a story by Philip K. Dick, so this is to be expected. It’s one of the best films we’ve seen so far this year and the rotoscope animation really does a lot to enhance an already interesting story.
