The City Of Lost Children

Directed by Marc Caro and Jean-Pierre Jeunet

Miette: When you’re born in the gutter you end up in the port.

Visually striking and imaginative with iconic characters. Plays like a deranged new age fairytale thought up by Lewis Carroll and Terry Gilliam. Ron Perlman, as the caring and gentle strongman, One, strikes me as something of an antithesis to Anthony Quinn’s Zampanò in La Strada.
