Auric Goldfinger: No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die.
Of the first three Bond films, this probably has the most straightforward, smoothly plotted story. And that, perhaps, gives it a slight edge over its predecessors. Goldfinger is also more of an archetypal nemesis than Bond’s previous foes. Lots of classic moments here that have been copied since.
