Dawn Of The Dead

Directed by George Romero

Zombies at the mall! Ok, so the whole zombies/consumers thing is amusing and interesting, but, overall, the film is clunky. The dialogue and acting are groan-enducing, and it’s overly epsisodic, lacking the satisfying through-line needed to pull it all together — other than the fact that it takes place almost entirely at a mall. Also, the music, by Dario Argento and the Goblins was often truly obnoxious and distracting.
