Directed by John Hillcoat

Nick Cave wrote the screenplay, which is pretty good. Basically a Western, but set in Australia. Excellent cast. The look of the film was interesting — an emphasis on contrasting the beautiful vistas of the outback with the grim and gritty way of life among the people living there.
