CITY OF GOD

I saw City of God over the weekend and was blown away. The style [and the story to some extent] was reminiscent of Goodfellas, but even more violent and I’d have to say that the setting and gritty cinematography gave it more of an edgy feel than the nostalgic one of Scorsese’s film. If you get a chance, you should definitely check it out.
